Domain Names for Sale
Brandings has a huge selection of domain names for sale and some advice for people in search of premium domain names for global business.
We know how difficult it can be to find a business name. We also know that it can be even more complicated to secure the corresponding exact match dot-com domain name. In fact, some companies, particularly ones outside the US have taken to using their country code internet extension.
These are the codes that come after the “dot” in place of the .com; for example dot-JP for Japan, dot-RU for Russia, dot-CA for Canada and even the US has one, dot-US.
Brandings strongly suggest you don’t go down that line particularly if you are expecting, even some day in the far future to be doing business internationally.
If you’re an Irish company and you’re expanding into France, you couldn’t expect the French or anyone to remember you’re dot-IR and not dot-FR or the dot-COM. Brandings only has dot-COM domain names for sale; it is truly the international domain extension. Brandings has more to read about international premium domain names for you, just follow the link.

Don’t get anything but a .com domain names like you said in that other blog. The more domain extensions ICANN let’s out the more important they become.
Wow, thanks, we couldn’t agree with you more. ICANN has let out more domain name extensions and the more they release the more important the dot-com domain name extension becomes important. dot-com is and has always be the go to extension in the business world and we believe it will always be.
The new extension are fun and as we said in the article, if you can afford to buy out the entire extension like .Ikea or .Target or .Apple, we think its great and we would love to do it, other than that, dot-com all the way.
Thanks for the great thought and thanks for the comment!
I didn’t even know that each country had their own code. I guess you’re right though that if you are going to do international business you have to have the .com domain. It is really neat that if you are a small business in Ireland you don’t have to fight with larger international companies for the name.
